So... This week's follower of the week is Heather Seymour. Heather is a friend of Claire's who has been a follower of the One Hundred List since the beginning. She is an experienced blogger herself... and has directed a many of viewers to our site. When informed that she was this week's follower... her exact response was... Aww, thanks for picking me!
Now... a little more about Heather...
Q: If there was one thing in the world that you could do... what would it be and why?
A: I've always wanted to see the penguins in Antarctica (but I'll settle for the tip of Chile). Since that's more of a long-term thing that requires plenty of planning (not to mention PTO), I've decided to become a proficient whistler. I want to be that person who can whistle in tune along with a song - listening to whistling makes me happy!
Q: What was something you thought you would never ever do... but then ended up doing? How was it?
A: I used to be seriously afraid of heights. I mean, not just scared of heights but my knees would buckle on high places. When I was in middle school, I decided that I would go rappelling to help dispel the fear (who decides that??) The experience was definitely terrifying and I had a freak-out halfway down - the instructor had to rappel to me and talk me down. But when I finally got to the bottom, I couldn't believe I'd actually walked down the face of a cliff. And next summer I did it again, minus the freak-out. I'm still not a huge fan of heights but I learned that challenging experiences can be rewarding if you follow them through to the end.
Q: What inspires you most to get out there and do the things you have always wanted?
A: Honestly... turning 25 has inspired me. Maybe this quarter-life crisis idea has some merit after all.
Q: Anything else you want to share?
A: Thanks for picking me :) Keep inspiring us!
Should've known you'd pick that picture... ha.
