Follower of the Week: Haley Steinert

Haley is one of Jyl's oldest friends. They have been friends since they were 11--that's 14 years for all you math majors. Haley is an avid follower of our blog, and tells Jyl that she is excited about all the things that the four of us are doing. We asked Haley a few questions, so get excited, her answers are really good.

Q: What are the top 5 places you want to visit before you die? (you can't pick ones you've
already been to)
A: 1. A Safari in Africa
2. China--especially the Great Wall
3. Somewhere in South America (I've already been to Ecuador, so somewhere else) maybe
the rain forest and the Galapagos Islands
4. Ireland or Scotland
5. Places I've never been to in Colorado. Ok, so I know this is kind of lame, because I've
lived in Colorado my whole life, but it can be easy to travel to other places and there's so
much to see right here!

Q: Who inspires you to do things you're not sure you want to try?
A: People who dream up things and MAKE them happen inspire me. Sometimes I can be a lot
of talk about the things I want to do, so it inspires me when people actually makes things
come true! Way to go you guys!

Q: Any words of wisdom to encourage our readers to cross things off their lists?
A: Just starting to cross things off your list becomes inspiring. I want to climb all the 14ers
(mountains over 14,000 feet) in Colorado, and as I start to cross them off the list, it becomes
more motivating and easier. 54 mountains sounds crazy at first, but now I only have 18 left,
so it's a lot easier. It's nice to see that you're accomplishing something! Also, keep a record of
all the things you've done (pictures, journal, blog) because it's so fun to look back. It also
inspires you when you need it or helps you to dream up new dreams.
