#27: Try the Salted Caramel Cupcake at Cupcake Royale

Cupcake Royale (for all you out-of-towners) is a cupcake cafe in Seattle. There are three huge contenders for the best cupcake in Seattle: Cupcake Royale, Trophy Cupcakes and New York Cupcakes. I have had all three, and I have to say, that being an expert in cakes and cake-like items, I would have to say that New York Cupcakes, hands down is the best cupcake cafe in Seattle, but Cupcake Royale is the very first cupcake cafe I ever went to when I first moved to Seattle that it's a very close second.

My favorite cupcake at Cupcake Royale is the mint one. BUT I have always been curious what the salted caramel cupcake tastes like. As a surprise for my 25th birthday, Jennie and Mykell bought me a salted caramel cupcake from Cupcake Royale. It was...delicious. The combination of caramel, sweet sweet caramel, and the bite of the salt to bring out the flavors in the chocolate and caramel was just so perfect.
