Meet the Four

I thought it would be a good idea to let you get to know a little bit about the four of us as we embark on this journey together.

Claire hails from the Bay Area in California. She graduated from SPU two years ago with a BA in Linguistics and European Studies: German. She likes to take walks around Green Lake, and loves good movies. Claire wants to be in the FBI which might make her the coolest of the one-hundred list. Claire is one of the most genuine people I know. Really. She takes time to listen when you talk to her, and she takes in interest in her friends.

Jennie is from Minnesota--Minneapolis area. She graduated from SPU three years ago with a BA in Fashion Design and Individual and Family Development. She likes to dance, organize, craft, and design. Jennie is a loyal friend. She has a sense of adventure and spontaneity that will bring the level of daringness to the one-hundred list group. Jennie works for an organic kids and babies clothing company, but hopes to one day open a craft center to instill in those around her a love for creativity.

Mykell is from Washington State. She graduated from SPU three years ago with a BA in Education and Psychology. She is currently in grad school as the University of Washington, pursuing a masters in Psychology. Mykell enjoys sports, outdoor activities, Jane Austin novels, and good food. Mykell has a twin sister, Meghan, and a little brother, Jordan. Her family is very close knit, and spend a lot of time together when possible. Mykell is a very good listener and very easy-going. Though she is quiet, I'm sure that her encouraging spirit will ensure that a lot of our tasks on the one-hundred list will get completed.

As for me, I'm Jyl. I'm from Colorado. I graduated from SPU three years ago with a BA in English: creative writing, poetry and Sociology. I enjoy eating Pad Thai, running, and watching C-SPAN. I currently work for Microsoft, doing administrative work for the legal department. I hope one day to get an MBA and be a VP of a company. I live by the motto "let's do it right now." which sometimes gets me into trouble, but will be a good motto to have when it comes to checking things off my one-hundred list. I'm a goal setter, and never do anything the easy way--it's all or nothing.

I'm excited you'll be sharing this journey with us. Now that you know us, you can cheer us on as we take on the ONE-HUNDRED LIST CHALLENGE.
