It's officially fall and I can definitely feel it in the weather. The mornings have been a little on the cool side and I know it is only a matter of time until I need a jacket to walk from my apartment to my car. While I'm not especially happy about the prospect of a lot of ice/snow this winter, I am excited about the holiday season. A time for everything pumpkin, dressing up, simmering cinnamon & cloves on the stove, leaves changing colors, wearing scarves, decorating trees & gingerbread houses, watching claymation (my favorite is Santa Clause is Comin' to Town... a must watch) and so much more. I'm getting more and more excited just thinking about it.This time of year also brings to mind many popular destinations... Downtown shopping, pumpkin patch, corn maze, doorstep (for trick-or-treaters), ice rink, tree farm, the ballet (Nutcracker specifically) and the Honey Baked Ham store. Now, it may surprise you to find out that I have NEVER visited two of the locations I just mentioned. Which two you ask? Why let me tell you. I have NEVER gone in a corn maze or to a tree farm to cut down my own Christmas Tree. Crazy... I know. That is why these two things just happen to be on my One Hundred List as well.
The Plan: To accomplish both tasks during Fall 2010.
When to Start: TONIGHT!!!
Yes, I'm hoping to go with my apartment mate and her small group to a corn maze this very night. That said, I know you will all be anxiously awaiting my follow up post. Don't lose too much sleep over it, I'll get something on the blog later this weekend. Well... Assuming I find my way out!
Sympathy follow. :)
