J.J. Johnny is still alive! Check #52 off my list. He makes our lives brighter, and I am learning how to take care of something, so that one day I can have a dog.
Things J.J. Johnny has taught me about being a successful fish mom:
1. Water needs to be ROOM TEMPERATURE. We started out a little rocky: in order to not burn him I put in him cold water, but he didn't like that
2. They only need to be fed about 2-3 times a week
3. Buy a flower or plant that is appropriately sized for the tank--if you get it too big they are crowded and they get sad
4. Buy 2 bowls: that way you can boil the rocks to sanitize them and they have a clean tank to go to without getting boiled by the sanitized rocks
5. Keep them happy: feed them when they need it; clean their bowl when they need it; talk to them.
